I think that what you published made a lot of sense. However, think about this, what if you typed a catchier post title? I am not saying your content isn't good., but suppose you added something that makes people desire more? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You should peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they create news titles to get viewers interested. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get people interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.
