I believe what you typed was very logical. However, what about this? what if you were to create a awesome post title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added a headline that grabbed people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You should look at Yahoo's home page and note how they create post titles to get viewers to click. You might add a related video or a pic or two to grab people excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little bit more interesting.
